Fall 2025

Designed alongside partner Hunter Whitley, this project explores a clay 3D-printed housing system for Tornado Alley that combines structural resilience, material efficiency, and ecological integration. Using advanced robotic printing and locally sourced, zero-waste natural mixtures, these homes are engineered to withstand extreme wind events while reducing environmental impact. A layered, potted façade system introduces vegetation directly into the building envelope, supporting local ecology, improving microclimates, and enhancing the structure's overall performance and livability.
